Chrome extension
On any website, right-click an image, video or audio file and choose “Check with AI Yakala”. The file is added to the check page; one click gets you its report.
Installing it
- Unzip the downloaded file into a folder.
- In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and turn on “Developer mode” at the top right.
- Click “Load unpacked” and choose the folder you unzipped.
Coming to the Chrome Web Store soon; it will then install in one click.
Good to know
- Social networks and messaging apps often remove the traces from uploaded images. The original file gives the best result.
- The extension passes on files up to 7 MB; download larger ones and upload them on the check page.
- Checks run with your account and use your credits; the extension asks for no password or key.
- The extension only takes the file you choose; it does not track the pages you visit or send them anywhere.
